Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
StatementKit is operated by Devloggic SAS (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what we collect when you use statementkit.com and the StatementKit conversion service, and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you register we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. We also keep subscription status and monthly upload counts so we can enforce plan limits.
Bank and credit card statements
When you upload a PDF we store the file so we can extract transactions and so you can review, reprocess, or export later. We also store the extracted data in your account, which may include bank name, account holder name, account number, statement period, balances, transaction dates, descriptions, amounts, and categories.
Password-protected PDFs are rejected and deleted. You can delete a statement from your dashboard. To close your account and request deletion of remaining data, email support@devloggic.com.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through PayPal. We do not store your full card number. PayPal processes the payment and we store subscription identifiers, plan, and status so we can deliver the service.
Technical and marketing data
We automatically collect IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar log data needed to run and secure the site. Marketing pages load a Google Ads tag (conversion measurement). We use cookies and a session cookie to keep you signed in.
2. How we use information
- To extract transactions and provide CSV/Excel exports
- To operate your account, enforce plan limits, and process subscriptions
- To communicate about the service (for example, account or billing issues)
- To prevent abuse and comply with law
- To measure marketing conversions on our public website
We do not sell your personal information or your statement data.
3. Who we share information with
We share data only with processors that help us run StatementKit:
- OpenAI. Uploaded PDFs are sent to OpenAI’s API so the model can extract transaction rows. We do not send your StatementKit password. OpenAI’s use of API data is described in OpenAI’s API data usage policy.
- PayPal. If you subscribe, PayPal receives the information needed to charge your plan.
- Hosting and infrastructure. The app runs on our hosting provider. Data is stored on those servers.
- Google Ads. Public marketing pages may send conversion events. This is not used to send your statement contents to Google.
- Legal requests. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users or our rights.
4. Retention
Account data and extracted statements stay in your account until you delete them or ask us to close the account. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email support@devloggic.com to make a request.
6. Children
StatementKit is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. International transfers
We are based in Colombia. OpenAI, PayPal, Google, and our hosting provider may process data in the United States or other countries. By using the service you understand your information may be processed outside your home country.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of StatementKit after a change means you accept the updated policy.
